Upgrade U™ | Dr. Nathan Bryan, Pneuma Nitric Oxide | Nitric Oxide: The Foundational Molecule for Health and Longevity
Description
Nitric oxide (NO) is a multifunctional signaling molecule, intricately involved with maintaining circulation and oxygen/nutrient delivery to every cell in the body. Nitric oxide is responsible for blood vessel dilation allowing for an increase in blood flow upon demand. Nitric oxide controls and regulates mitochondrial function, activation of stem cells for repair and replacing dysfunctional cells and it controls telomere length. Loss of production and signaling of and by nitric oxide is responsible for many diseases and syndromes such as vascular dementia/Alzheimers Disease, early death and even sexual function. NO is one of the most important signaling molecules in our body. Loss of NO function is one of the earliest indicators or markers of disease. Erectile dysfunction in both men and women is now recognized as one of the first signs and symptoms of insufficient nitric oxide production and considered the “canary in the coal mine”. If not treated, nitric oxide deficiency will progress to brain dysfunction and many other conditions. I will review the current state of the science surrounding nitric oxide in the etiology in neurodegenerative diseases and sexual dysfunction and reveal how a single molecule can restore the function of all organs. The audience will learn how to restore and replete nitric oxide production through simple lifestyle changes and clinically proven biohacks. Learning Objectives: 1. Learn about nitric oxide production in human physiology 2. Understand how nitric oxide improves mitochondrial function, stem cells and telomere length 3. Understand lifestyle habits and medications that disrupt nitric oxide production 4. Utilize clinically proven strategies to restore nitric oxide production for biohacking to better health and longevity
